Vendor Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: October 13, 2025
These Vendor Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to any individual or business ("Vendor") selling goods or services ("Products") on the Trovemercado platform ("Platform"). By registering as a Vendor, you agree to be bound by these Terms, in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Article 1: Vendor Account & Responsibilities Vendors must provide accurate information and are responsible for all activities under their account. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any Vendor account at our discretion.
Article 2: Product Listing & Content
- Catalog-Based Listing: Vendors must list products against the Platform's existing catalog.
- Listing Method:
- a. Standard Listing (No Photo Required): For most items, Vendors select the catalog item, designate the condition according to the "Product Condition Guidelines," and input their price and quantity.
- b. Individual Listing (Photo Required): For exceptional items (e.g., professionally graded, high-value, or unique items like signed cards), Vendors may create an individual listing with photos.
- Prohibited Items: Listing illegal items or items that infringe on intellectual property rights is strictly forbidden.
Article 3: Order Fulfillment & Shipping Vendors must comply with the Platform's shipping policies, including the mandatory use of trackable shipping methods for orders exceeding a certain value. The risk of loss or damage during transit remains with the Vendor.
Article 4: Payments & Fees All payments are processed through the Platform’s system. The Platform will hold funds in escrow until the transaction is complete, then disburse the funds to the Vendor after deducting the commission fee.
Article 5: Customer Service, Returns, & Refunds
- Customer Communication: Vendors must respond to Buyer inquiries via the Platform's messaging system within a 48-hour timeframe.
- Dispute Resolution: The Vendor agrees to cooperate with the "Trovemercado Buyer Safeguard Program." Before initiating formal legal action, all parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally through direct communication and the Platform's mediation process. The Platform's final decision in a dispute is binding, and refunds may be deducted from the Vendor's payouts.
Article 6: Indemnification The Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Platform from any and all claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from the Vendor's products or actions.
Article 7: Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any legal action shall be instituted exclusively in the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Article 8: Modification of Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
